It is the goal of the Saluda County School District Maintenance Department to maintain the physical school buildings in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of them may be made at all times. It is our priority to ensure the buildings are safe and secure for the students and staff of this district.

All custodial and maintenance staff in the district are in compliance with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) training regulations. Each school will have an in house inspection every 6 months and a 3 year inspection with Davis and Floyd. 

Each school will have documentation if it contains asbestos and its location.
