The Social Studies Department course of study allows our students to become more involved and in touch with the history of their world through World History and of their nation through United States History/Constitution. Students are also are instructed in Psychology, Government/Economics, and World Geogpraphy. In the Social Studies Department, we as a faculty view our teaching role as being very significant in preparing our students to become informed, productive, and conscientious citizens of our nation, while being knowledgable of both historical and current events which impact our world from the local to the global perspective.
