Nutritional meals provided at school are a vital part of the total educational program. We encourage your child to participate in the breakfast and lunch program at school.
Prepayment of meals on a weekly or monthly basis is encouraged. School lunches are $1.80 a day or $9.00 per week. Extra milk is $.30 per half-pint carton. Breakfast is $1.10 per day or $5.50 per week. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO CHARGE MORE THAN $5.00 IN THE CAFETERIA. A child who has reached the $5.00 limit will NOT be served the regular lunch; instead, he or she will be given two slices of bread, ham, fruit, and milk, until the amount owed has been paid. The cafeteria prints notices for children that owe lunch or breakfast money. To check your child’s account balance, please call the school cafeteria between or .
Applications for free and reduced price lunches are available to all parents. Applications are available in the office if the family income status changes during the year.
Menus are printed weekly in the school newsletter. Students are encouraged to eat school prepared meals. Delivering outside lunches to students during the school day is discouraged. If your child prefers a home-prepared lunch, please have the child bring the lunch to school with him/her in the morning.
