Lots of excitment on the first day of school

Students, parents, staff, and teachers filled the halls and classrooms on the first day of school with much excitment!  Around 2,334 students were in attendance up from last year's enrollment of 2,200.  Students will have two full days their first week back in school studying the Total Solar Eclipse before having the day off on Monday, August 21 to be able to view the eclipse with their family if they choose to.  We are looking forward to another great year at Saluda County Schools!
